This service is fantastic! I thought with my narrowly focused expertise in engineering it would take weeks to get responses with your service. Recruitment Agency's - How to find them & do I need them?

Recruitment Agency's

Recruitment Agency’s are in EVERY town and City across the UK. They offer a range of different services to both their Clients and job seekers. Some are only interested in Temporary vacancies and some will only recruit for Permanent positions while others will Recruit for both!

So what service do recruitment agency’s offer?

Well, they mainly play a 'piggy in the middle' role, acting as the middle man between the Employer and the Candidate or Job Seeker. They will often do much of the recruitment process on behalf of the Employer. This can include all the advertising, screening and interviewing. If they are recruiting for a Temporary vacancy, they may even pay the Candidate directly for work done and re-claim the money from the Employer.

So, Recruitment Agency’s can offer a valuable service to both Employers and Job seekers but do you need to use one?

Well, I suppose the answer to this question will depend really on the sort of job you are looking for. If you are looking for temp jobs, then you will almost certainly benefit from working with a recruitment agency.

Did you know that many jobs are never actually advertised?

Why? Because Recruitment Agency’s already have vast databases of active job seekers so they don’t have to spend money on advertising jobs.

So how can you gain access to these jobs?

Simple, register your CV with some Recruitment Agency’s. I am sure that if you 'Google' Recruitment Agency’s you will produce a list of thousands that you could approach - but there is a better way!

CV Distribution can fast track this process and automatically send your CV to top Employers and Recruitment Agency’s. Some are FREE while others offer an excellent value for money premium service. A list of these services can be found on our Resources Page.

Jobs UK - How to find Jobs in the UK

www.careerjet.co.uk

Searching for jobs in the UK has changed considerably over the last few years. This is mainly down to the amazing power of the internet. The traditional job search method of popping down to the local job centre and browsing through the vacancies listed on a board has now been replaced with literally thousands of online job sites.

So how do you choose a UK job site to begin your search?

Well firstly you have to understand the difference between a job board and a job aggregator. A job board like Monster.co.uk and CV-Library.co.uk accept job vacancy adverts from their Clients - normally Employers or Recruiters. These type job sites usually only display their own job vacancies.

Job aggregator sites (like Careerjet.co.uk) search the intire internet looking for jobs. When they find them, they display these jobs in a user-friendly way complete with a link to the original job board. This could save you a lot of time when searching for UK Jobs.

We would recommend a 'belt and braces' approach when searching for jobs in the UK - Register and upload your CV with as many of the Job Boards you can whilst keeping an eye on all the latest vacancies using a job aggregator.

CV writing – why use Professional CV writing services

CV Writing - Win more interviews

CV writing is such an important part of the recruitment process. It never ceases to amaze me how many candidates simply submit a standard copy of their CV rather than writing a bespoke CV targeted at the vacancy requirements. With literally hundreds of CVs being sent for each advertised vacancy, an employer or recruiter probably won’t have time to read every detail of every CV. What will normally happen is a quick ‘scan read’ trying to find the basic minimum requirements of the vacancy. It has been proved that each candidate will have around 30 seconds to make their CV stand out and be selected for a more ‘detailed’ examination. Is this unfair? Possibly, but hopefully you will now begin to understand how important it is to write a bespoke CV for each job vacancy you apply for.

We would always recommend using the services of a professional CV writing service.

Why? Because it makes such a massive difference. You will ‘know’ that you have the best chance of getting through the initial filtering stage with a professionally written CV.

There are quite a few CV writing services advertised on the internet, but please be aware! Some are most definitely better than others. We would recommend that you do your research and choose a company not just based on price but on their overall service and any recommendations. Google them first! It is amazing what you will come up with!

The CV Centre – professional CV writing service

The CV Centre is the UK's leading CV writing service and their fees are by far the most competitively priced on the internet. The CV Centre's service is supported by both their 100% Money-Back Guarantee and their 100% Satisfaction Guarantee in addition to numerous outstanding Testimonials from delighted clients.
